Result interpretation:

All colour changes begin within just a few seconds. In all cases, the colour will be fully developed after at least one minute. A further lapse of time produces a gradual deepening of the colour. The evaluation of the test should therefore take place after no longer than three minutes. The presence of ephedrine, amphetamine or methamphetamine in the sample to be analysed will cause a red-orange colour to occur The presence of MDMA (ecstasy) in the sample to be analysed causes a change from colourless to dark brown to black, whereas PMA is characterised by a colour change to dark red-violet.
