Cannabis can be prescribed for medical reasons or consumed illegally. In any case, cannabis leaves traces in the body. These are predominantly detectable in the form of 11-nor-9-carboxy-THC (THC-COOH), the metabolite of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). However, the detection of the amount consumed is highly dependent on the frequency of use. Additionally, individual parameters such as metabolism and morphology of the consumer have direct effects on the elimination time of THC, as it is rapidly stored in fatty tissue due to its lipophilic nature and is slowly released. To meet every need, we offer a wide range of different cut-offs. Our most sensitive detection limit is 25 ng/mL, allowing detection of chronic (daily) use up to 3 months ago. Our highest cut-off is 500 ng/mL, which can detect acute or ongoing chronic consumption patterns.
