The popular Saliva Classic THC 12 ng/mL test has been extensively revised. The screw cap allows for safe shipment for confirmation analysis. The collection sponge has been improved and now offers a capacity of 1 mL. The taste and texture of the collection sponge have also been adjusted to make the collection process more comfortable for the donor. The larger drop volume of the integrated dropper pipette facilitates the application of the sample to the test cassette.
Cannabis can be prescribed for medical reasons or consumed illegally. In either case, cannabis leaves traces in the body. These are predominantly detectable in the form of 11-nor-9-carboxy-THC (THC-COOH), which is the metabolite of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). However, the detection of the consumed amount strongly depends on the frequency of consumption. Additionally, individual parameters such as metabolism and morphology of the consumer directly affect the elimination time of THC. Due to its lipophilic nature, THC is rapidly stored in adipose tissue and is slowly released. To meet every need, we offer a wide range of different cutoffs. Our most sensitive detection threshold is 25 ng/mL, allowing for the detection of chronic (daily) consumption up to 3 months ago. Our highest cutoff is 500 ng/mL, which can detect acute or ongoing chronic consumption patterns.
